Maria Grazia Cucinotta - 2009 Venice Film Festival
The Venice Film Festival (Italian: Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica di Venezia) is the oldest film festival in the world. Founded in 1932, the festival has since taken place every year in late August or early September on the world famous island of the Lido, Venice, Italy. Screenings take place in the historic Palazzo del Cinema on the Lungomare Marconi. It is one of the world’s most prestigious film festivals and is part of the Venice Biennale.
As every year, many actors, actresses, directors and celebrities from all around the world attended the festival.
One of this year’s photo highlights at the Lido Beach was the Italian actress Maria Grazia Cucinotta [She has featured in many films and television series since 1990, she has also worked as a producer, screenwriter and model. She is well-known in Italy as a movie and television actress, and internationally, she is best known for her roles in Il Postino and as the Bond girl (the Cigar Girl) in the James Bond film The World Is Not Enough. She has also guest starred in The Sopranos episode "Isabella"].
Reporters and paparazzi rushed to take her pictures at the Lido Beach. And she sure offered them great poses in a great setting. She used her sexy red velvet high heel peeptoe pumps as an extremely efficient prop and in my opinion she won the “Best Use of High Heels in a Photo Shoot Award” at the 66th Venice Film Festival!
Check for yourself.
