These pumps are adorable!

First, you have this nice lambskin upper with perforated suede overlay.

Then, you have 3 color choices: Red, Blue, and Gray.

Then, you can choose between platform and non-platform (platform adds 3/4-inch in height).

Then, you get the sexy narrow pointed toe.

The Christian Dior Fall 2010 ready-to-wear show was amazing.

John Galliano outlined an equestrian theme with lots of leather mixed with romantic chiffon pieces.

The main element of the collection were the boots, ankle high, knee high, and my favorite, over-the-knee.  They were mostly rugged looking platform boots made of leather and suede with stiletto heels. there were a couple of lovely lace ankle boots with stiletto heels but the majority of the boots were leather incorporating buckles on the sides and laced-up back in line with the equestrian theme. Thigh-high boots were paired with almost everything in the collection and for some pieces they were replaced with knee high or ankle boots plus thigh-high socks.

I also loved the leather equestrian-themed jackets, jodhpurs and hats.  The colors were wintery and pastel. All in all, most of the outfits were gorgeous and very feminine, very sexy.

At times, I am not extremely delighted with how the top designer couture collections look, especially if there is too much of “experimenting” going on - as it was the case with Alexander McQueen SS 2010 collection footwear- and when the model selection and make-up is tasteless – as with extremely skinny and unhealthy looking models [...]]]>

At times, I am not extremely delighted with how the top designer couture collections look, especially if there is too much of “experimenting” going on - as it was the case with Alexander McQueen SS 2010 collection footwear- and when the model selection and make-up is tasteless – as with extremely skinny and unhealthy looking models (aka “bag of bones”) and models who have bad hair-dos and make-up that look like they have been punched in both eyes.

However, the Dior Couture 2010 Collection has a very classic feel to it in terms of shapes, materials, and execution. I especially love the long leather gloves and the buttoned and buckled high-heel boots, not to forget the riding crops as classy accessories.
