When I look at these Espadrille Platform Wedges by Michael Kors, they remind me of sunshine, a light breeze, fresh-cut grass and salty seawater smell.

They have a very sophisticated look with all leather straps in ‘luggage’ color and matching silver-tone metal hardware, all leather lining, insole and outsoles.

You can see the Italian craftsmanship in the espadrille-wrapped platform wedges and adjustable buckle closure.

The heels measure 5 1/2 inches and they have 1 3/4 inch platforms.

If you ask me, whether or not they are $1,175 worth (Zappos Couture price), I’d say “hell no” as there are several similar wedges in the market for much lower prices; however, it might be worth waiting for a 50-60% sale at the end of the season to grab them for next year.

I love the combination of the metallic accents, see-thru plastic and mini platforms in this collection by Michael Kors. Most shoes are slingbacks or sandals with ankle straps. The heel heights are around 5 inches – which I love- with a couple of shoes around 4 inches.

It’s a lovely collection for the spring time.
