I love Lucy Liu and she is one of my favorite girls in the movies. She always looks very beautiful, elegant and sexy at the same time.

These pictures are from the premiere of Kung Fu Panda 2 and she looks amazing again.

I love her white dress and Jimmy Choo patent leather nude peep-toe shoes. They are classic patent leather pumps rendered in a curvaceous modern shape with a peep-toe.

Made in Italy and priced at $750, these peep-toe pumps feature a self-covered 5¾-inch stiletto high heel (145mm) and a 1½-inch tall platform (40mm).

Although the platform makes the heel height comparable to a 4¼-inch high heel (115mm), it is still amazing how graceful Lucy walks and poses in them considering her little feet are only size 5.5 (35.5).

I love these purple and fuchsia leather peep-toe stiletto ankle boots by Jimmy Choo – especially the braided panels detail and the 5-inch high heels.

They also feature a round peep toe with crocodile-effect finish, a woven and stitched mesh front, and a zip fastening at back.

When they first came out, their price was $2K! Now, they are on sale at several online retailers for around $600. But hurry, this high quality won’t last long for that price.

Six inches high off the ground, these beautiful Jimmy Choo sandals will certainly elevate your feet as well as your looks.

They come in black (Black / Red / Fuchsia / White) and brown (Brown / Tan / Black / White) and they feature a combination of snakeskin, leather, and strappy fabric upper.

These platform sandals are made in Italy and have 6 inch high stacked wooden stiletto heels and 1 inch high suede platform.

The silvertone discs detail on the crisscross vamp section and the woven leather straps at sides make them stand out further.

At the back, they feature a woven black patent leather and white acetate heel section with exposed back zipper for easy access. The partially elasticated ankle straps are made of python skin and the insoles and the midsoles are leather lined. The ousoles are made of genuine leather as well.

Getting Ready for the Summer

I am thinking about ordering a pair of Jimmy Choo Opera ankle-strap leather stiletto sandals.

Athough the heels measure only a comfortable 4-inches, these sandals look as if they are higher.

I love the wide elegant ankle straps. They feature four D-rings and a zip fastening at the back of heel with a designer-stamped gold zip pull.

My only concern is that Choo shoes always run smaller than other designers´ and it makes it hard to order them online as they are not true to the size.

I might order them- but if they don´t fit when they arrive, it´d really suck to send a gorgeous pair of heels back and wait for the replacements to arrive!

I love suede! OK, maybe not as much as I do love leather but still I love it.

The hardest part to deal with suede is to keep it nice and clean and as fresh as the first day that you wore those shoes or boots. It is not as forgiving as leather would be. But then again it looks kind of different each time you look at it as the surface changes slightly unlike leather.

I am very much into studded shoes and boots right now.

I’ve just bought a pair of lovely Loubs (Pigalle 100) for my shoe collection and I love them. They are just gorgeous (see pics below).

There are some other nice examples of studded shoes and boots that I would like to purchase (see pics below) in the near future, which are not too extreme that I cannot wear them daily-like Rodarte studded shoes by Louboutin [although I love them as well!!] Right now, I need shoes and boots that complement my business attire and that can be worn everyday.

But anyway, I will cover that in a future post about studded shoes and boots more in detail.

Girls, it is time to go green and save! Green is not one of the main colors in our collective color plate. I was not sure about going green for fall/winter 2009/10. Was it too daring?

As I was contemplating the validity of this post during my morning commute, a vision in green captivated my attention. My fellow commuter, the always stylish yet never dull, Ms. Fierce (my personal nickname for her). Wearing a very lovely green python printed pump with a green satin pencil skirt, with a burgundy bag. Yes, she went there and the land was good.

The Real Stiletto Heels

I am sick and tired of people saying that this shoe and that boot has “stiletto heels” and then I see that they only have high heels that happen to be not chunky! I have seen so many pictures online, that were supposed to be of some ”stiletto heeled shoes or boots” which were only 3-3.5 inch classic heels.

The best definition of a stiletto heel is “A very high heel on a woman’s shoe, tapering to a very narrow tip. Origin: 17th Century; from Italian, from stilo a dagger, from Latin stilus a stake, pen“. Most of the real stiletto heels are also called pin heels or spike heels.

I absolutely see no reason to call any type of high heel a stiletto heel to give it a more sophisticated and exquiste status. Unless it is very thin at the base and pointed at the heel tip, a heel should not be called a stiletto heel but simply a high heel.

To clarify what a real stiletto heel is, I am posting a couple of shoe and boot pictures with “real” stiletto heels.

My High Heeled Boot Favorites

I must admit, I am a Boot Girl. I love boots and I can wear them anytime, even in the summer!

This year, a new trend emerged. Designers all around the world are creating styles that look like a pair of rather closed peeptoe pumps or sandals but they call them a bootie, “peeptoe bootie”, “open-toe ankle boots” or even a “shoe bootie” or “shoe boot” as in case of Fendi High Heel Gladiator Shoe Boots.

Whatever they are called, these styles are sexy and gives us ladies the chance to show off our well-pedicured toes, even in fall and winter! There is also a continuing trend for over-the-knee (OTK) and thigh-high designs and although most designers are looking for a fresh style, I love some of the retro look like in Jimmy Choo, Michael Kors, Miu Miu, and especially Prada OTK models.

Although there are some cute flat or low-heel OTK boots this year (especially some riding boot inspired models), I always prefer high heels and stilettos!

Hot and Sexy Boots for 2009 Fall/2010 Winter Season

Fellow Boot Lovers,

My Goodness! There is so much going on in the Boot Universe that it is crazy-in a great way of course!

The more the designers reveal their creations the more exciting it gets for all of us Boot Bitches! Some styles are so tempting that I can barely hold myself back from jumping into a pair of my thigh high leather boots with stiletto heels and getting out under the sun at 95 degrees!!

As I mentioned previously, the greatest two trends are the high heeled peeptoe booties and the over-the-knee/thigh-high boots. But one thing is mostly common in both trends and that is the high stiletto heels. When was the last time that we had so many styles with 5 inches and higher heels? Most boots also feature platforms-hidden or visible- that make the higher heels more manageable for daily use.

All in all, this fall will be a great time for all boot lovers-and fetishists amongst us since the “unconventional” and exquisite fetish styles are becoming a part of ladies’ daily boot game!
